Project Background

The mosque serves as the heart of the local community in this Malaysian district. As captured in the project footage, the facility includes a spacious parking area and walkways surrounded by lush greenery. The administration aimed to upgrade its outdoor lighting system to ensure the safety of worshippers, particularly during the early morning (Fajr) and evening (Maghrib/Isha) prayers.

Unlike previous grid-tied projects, the client required a 100% off-grid solar solution. The goal was to provide reliable illumination for the parking lot and entrance without incurring electricity costs or damaging the existing paved grounds.

The Challenge

Zero Trenching Requirement: The mosque's parking area and pathways were already fully paved. Digging trenches to lay underground cables for traditional AC lights was not an option.
Tropical Climate Reliability: Malaysia has a tropical rainforest climate. The lighting system needed to be highly efficient to ensure reliability during rainy seasons.
Smart Control: The client wanted lights that could automatically save energy when no one is around but instantly brighten up for security.

The Solution

To meet these requirements, we supplied our All-in-One Solar Street Light Series. This fixture features a compact design that integrates a high-efficiency monocrystalline solar panel, a long-life LiFePO4 battery, and bright LED chips into a single housing.
